Genotox

Genotoxicity is the study of the effect of chemicals on nucleic acid stability.

The branch of Genetic Toxicology has evolved in response to the concern that certain chemicals which have been found to be inducing mutation in various experimental systems, could potentially affect the incidence of heritable disease in man, as well as could potentially be carcinogenic. . Various tests based on diversified mutagenic effects have been recommended by OECD as well as OPPTS (OCPSS), for evaluation of mutagenic potential of the test chemicals.

Jai Research Foundation (JRF) has over three decades of expertise and experience, well honed under the global scientists of repute in this field, in full compliance with the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles. JRF have well organized purpose built facility to conduct all the standard in vitroand in vivo genetic toxicology assays using protocols complying with the harmonized international guidelines. JRF has also offered these tests in compliance with ICH guidelines tracking the toxicokinetic parameters during the in vivo tests for Pharmaceutical products from our AAALAC approved animal facility.
