JRF offers a wide range of reproductive developmental and teratological studies, including maternal and foetal toxicity conducted in compliance with OECD, ICH and comparable guidelines as well as the GLP principles.

Evaluation of test substance toxicity to young and matured rodents and dogs proves safety to a certain level. However safety to the pregnant rodent females, their offsprings and their subsequent reproductive capability has become very important after the infamous anti emetic drug of the sixties.

In addition, we evaluate sperm motility, epididymal sperm reserves, homogenization resistant sperm head counts and sperm morphology to access abnormalities, which forms an integral part in two generation toxicity studies

Type of Study:

  • Embryo-fetal
  • Reproduction and development toxicity study
  • Fertility study
