Genotoxicity

JRF Global has over three decades of expertise and experience in genotoxicity, well honed by several global scientists of repute.

Genotox tests help identify pharmaceutical compounds which cause mutagenesis in living organisms, including man. These drugs are likely to affect the incidence of heritable disease in man and/or be potentially carcinogenic. Various tests based on diversified mutagenic effects have been recommended by ICH, for evaluation of mutagenic potential of various pharmaceutical products.

JRF has a well organized, purpose-built facility to conduct all the standard in vivo and in vitro genetic toxicology assays. Each assay uses protocols that comply with harmonized international guidelines.

Our dedicated team of scientists has vast experience in all aspects of genetic toxicology to evaluate each and every kind of pharmaceutical product. The results of these tests also provide an insight into the interpretation of carcinogenecity studies as well.
