JRF America (JRFA) is the highly specialized facility of JRF Global. JRFA collaborates with various task
forces and research groups to offer comprehensive services. In collaboration with several partners, JRFA
can perform complex environmental and exposure studies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Manage the shipment and receipt of all hazardous & non-hazardous materials.
2. Collaborate and communicate with clients, internal team, service providers, and others involved in shipment and receipt of materials.
3. Responsible for identifying, and sourcing products and services from external suppliers, and ensuring that all purchases meet a company's quality and cost standards
4. Follow all SOP’s, federal, state, and local business laws and regulations and company policies.
5. Ensure training / certifications are up to date and advise supervisor or management when new training / certification is required.
6. Ensure compliance under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) for waste management and disposal.
7. Conduct annual RCRA training for all onsite personnel.
8. Conduct site inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with RCRA regulations.
9. Participate in the Site Safety Committee.
Other Responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
a. Conduct monthly wipe tests to meet the RAD license compliance.
b. Conduct routine facility upkeep inspections, maintain/renew any additional permits.
c. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION
Required:
A. AS or BS Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field OR High School Diploma and minimum 2-year related industry experience
B. Authorization to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship
C. Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including MS Office.
D. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Preferred:
a. RCRA Waste Management Officer requires an initial RCRA/DOT training course of 8 hours,annual RCRA Training, and DOT training every 3 years.
b. IATA DGR (HAZMAT shipping by air needed every two years
c. Experience in regulated environments (GLP, SOPs, etc..) is a plus.
d. Experience in handling biological and/or chemical samples.
e. Experience in sample management and tracking.
f. High level of accountability and hands-on approach with a desire to learn and teach.

Position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday, with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living in
